Bialka Tatrzanska is a picturesque mountain village located 15 km from Novy Targ, 20 km from Zakopane.
Bukovina Tatrzanska, another popular ski resort in Lesser Poland, is located nearby.
The resort village stretches for 8 km along the valley of the river of the same name, which in some places spills over a distance of 1.5 km.
The Bialka River is one of the cleanest in the territory of the historical and ethnographic region of Podgall, in the valley of which a landscape reserve has been created.
20% of the territory of the village of Bialka Tatrzanska is occupied by forests. The highest point of the village is located at an altitude of 725 m and lies within the Kanyuvka mountain range.
The village of Bialka Tatrzanska was founded in the 17th century during the reign of Vladislav IV Vaza.
Previously, the territory of the settlement also included the Tatra forest massifs in the area of Morske Oko lake, but later the area of land belonging to the village decreased.
For a long time, Bialka Tatrzanska was a private settlement and was called Nova Bialka.
The village has a mountainous climate, but it is noticeably milder than in the neighboring Tatras.
In winter, a large amount of snow falls here, thanks to which the natural conditions for winter active recreation are preserved much longer than in other resort settlements of Lesser Poland.
Stable snow cover, the thickness of which is 40-80 cm, lasts 120-130 days a year in Bialka Tatrzanska.
You can usually ski here until the beginning of May.
Bialka Tatrzanska has a well-developed tourist infrastructure for active winter recreation.
The network of lifts in the settlement has stretched for several kilometers and a single sky-pass (pass for using lift services) is valid for all of them,
which creates comfortable conditions for skiing holidays in the territory of the entire settlement.

Bialka Tatrzanska is also known as a balneological resort. The newest thermal baths "Banya" on the territory of Poland are located here.
The recreation and health complex includes thermal pools, a water park, saunas, as well as a Health Institute and SPA.
