Kavarna is a resort town in Bulgaria. Roztashovane on the shores of the Black Sea. Vono is located 43 km from the border with Rumunia, 10 km from Balchik, about 60 km from Varna, 12 km from Kaliakra.
Kavarna has a wet, sandy beach, full of pine trees, which is perfect for spending time with children. There are no industrial enterprises in the surrounding area and the area is considered environmentally friendly.
There are no great hotels here, but in private cottages and small hotels you can always find rooms with all amenities, including air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, etc. In the center of Kavarna there are a number of great restaurants and numerous cafes , bars and restaurants are scattered throughout the area .
Important monuments include the archaeological museum and art gallery in Kavarna, churches from the Middle Ages, deposits of ancient spores at the Chirakma mission, unique ovens at the Kaliakra mission with the remains of a fortress i Thirizis. According to the transfers, the treasures of Alexander the Great were seized in the fortress of Tiresis, and from this high place 40 Bulgarian girls, weaving their braids one into another, were thrown into the water so that the Turks would not brutalize them in Islam. Farther away there is the settlement “Kamen Bryag” (Kamyaniy Bereg) and the archaeological reserve “Yayla”. The order with the mise is the most important reserve in Bulgaria.
Kavarna has the opportunity to engage in clearing - there are permits nearby for this area - Dobrich, Balchik, General Toshevo and Tervel. The mist is rich in mineral deposits and sanitary mud.
The rock festival Kavarna Rock Fest is taking place here, where Black Sabbath, Glenn Hughes, Ronnie James Dio, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Accept, Manowar and other famous Viconians all over the world performed.
The rich historical decline of Kavarna is even more beneficial for those who value antiquity and the Middle Ages. Here and in the nearby surroundings, countless architectural monuments of these eras, as well as archaeological finds, have been preserved.
