Bakuriani is one of the oldest ski resorts in the Caucasus.It is located at an altitude of 1,700 m above sea level.The distance from Tbilisi is 180 km.The average height of the snow cover is 65 cm.
Only 30 km from Bakuriani is the legendary resort of Borjomi, 60 kilometers away - another landmark of Georgia - the rock-cut city of Vardzia.
The resort is famous for a variety of open and wooded slopes.Today, Bakuriani is not only a center of skiing, but also a recognized family resort: here you can skate, sled, and snowmobile, and go horseback riding.

1) "Plateau", a track for beginners, the length of the cable car is 300 m, the slope of the mountain is 10-12 degrees.
2) Kohta-1, a two-stage route (the total length of the cable car is 1,500 m, complex in the upper part and simple in the lower part).
3) Kohta-2, a two-stage track, with a total length of 3,000 m.

There are 4 children's cable cars.The largest of them is 450 m. Skiing to the Tskhratskaro Pass (13 km from Bakuriani) to a height of 2,780 m is very popular among cross-country skiers.
