Tskhaltubo is a balneological resort located in western Georgia, 7 km from Kutaisi, 250 km from Tbilisi and 140 km from Batumi. The climate is humid subtropical. Winter here is quite warm and snowless. Summer is hot.
Tskhaltubo is known for its thermal mineral springs, which are used to restore metabolism in the body and to treat skin, nervous and cardiovascular diseases. A large park with exotic subtropical plants has been opened on the territory of the resort. The main attraction of Tskhaltubo is Prometheus Cave and Satapli Nature Reserve.
