Mati is a resort village located approximately 35 kilometers northeast of Athens, not far from the legendary city of Marathon. In the area of the Marathon valley, where in the distant year 490 BC. the famous Battle of Marathon took place. In all respects, this place is a pleasant place to relax. The port of Rafina, near these resorts, is the second largest in Attica.
