The city of Hajdúszoboszló, located where the Hortobágy, Beretó and Sárret regions converge, has become world famous for its healing waters. The turning point in the life of Hajdúszoboszló was October 26, 1925, when, northeast of the city, natural gas with thermal brown water with a temperature of +75C, which has an unusual aroma, burst to the surface from a depth of 1090 m. Women who washed their clothes in this water, after a while felt that their joint pain had disappeared. Scientific research began, and with it the development of the city.
