Cervinia, Val d'Aosta valley
Ski resort Cervinia is the "highest" ski resort in Italy.
The town is located in the picturesque Valturnache valley, surrounded by the majestic four-thousanders of the Alps - Monte Cervino (4,478 m), Monte Rosa (4,637 m), Brighthorn (4,165 m), Castor (4,228 m) and Matterhorn (4,478 m). .
Climatic conditions here are exceptionally favorable, because the mountains protect the valley from cold winds.
