Skiing
La Thuile is a ski resort with contrasting terrain for skiing and snowboarding.The vast area of flat beginner and lower intermediate terrain above Les Suches contrasts with the fast, steep World Cup ski route directly below.The longest track in La Thuile is the 11-kilometer San Bernardo track (#7). It's basically a snowy road down from the Petit St. Bernard Pass.An intermediate route, but really meant for beginners, it's actually more of a relaxing journey of discovery where, in true Italian style, you can link up with a few restaurants and bars en route to La Thuile.
The real fun in La Thuile is off-piste. Nothing major, but enough to get the adrenaline going.La Thuile is a great place to learn powder skiing thanks to the huge low angles of the off piste, especially over Les Suches & Arnouvaz.
