Slopes for skiing

Breuil-Cervinia and neighboring Valtournanche share slopes and pistes.Resort guests also have the opportunity to purchase an international ski pass to ski the territory of Zermatt, Switzerland.
The main skiing areas in Cervinia include: Plan-Maison (2555 m), Lagi-Cima-Bianke (2982 m) and Plateau-Rosa (3489 m).

The trails of the resort are very diverse and gradually cover the surrounding slopes. Their total length is 146 km:

• for beginners (blue marking) - 12 tracks (41 km);
• medium difficulty (red marking) - 26 tracks (97 km);
• difficult (black marking) - 1 route (8 km).

Schools for beginners

Group and private skiing and snowboarding lessons, as well as specialized carving, telemark and freestyle courses are available to resort guests:

• Breuil Ski School. Works since 1999. Experienced instructors teach downhill skiing, snowboarding, freeride, freestyle and telemark.Specialists speak English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Russian. Group classes are held for children aged 5 to 13 years.
• Scuola Di Sci Del Cervino. It was opened in 1936 and is considered one of the oldest in the world.Here you can take training in alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark, carving and freestyle.The school employs 130 instructors. Classes are available in 7 languages.
• Scuola sci Matterhorn-Cervinia. Founded in 1978.The main office is located in the center of the resort, the additional one is on Plan-Maison (mark 2500 m). The institution specializes in teaching downhill skiing, snowboarding, telemark and freeride.Group and individual classes with children are held.

The best time to travel

Thanks to the special climate, the ski season here lasts from October to May.But the best time (high season) for skiing is December, February and March.At this time, all tracks are open, and the snow cover becomes almost perfect.

January is a rather harsh month for Cervinia and can be uncomfortable for skiers who do not tolerate the cold well.The daytime temperature in December ranges from 0°C to -8°C, in February and March - from -6°C to +1°C.
