Hikkaduwa Beach is a place where you can see huge turtles in the water near the beach itself. The turtles chose a part of the beach near the Hikka Tranz Hotel. Early in the morning, they swim to the shore and rest peacefully in the sun. Local residents and tourists fed the turtles, so they are absolutely not afraid of people, you can very carefully go into the water and "be" next to these charming sea animals.
The main attraction of Hikkaduwa can be called a huge coral reef, located very close to the shore. It is about 400 meters long and two meters deep. It is located approximately 50 meters from the shore. This reef is extremely popular with divers who want to explore the diversity of marine life.
