A city of regional significance in the Lviv region of Ukraine, a balneological resort.
Located in the foothills of the Ukrainian Carpathians, at an altitude of 400 m, to the south 84 km from Lviv, 9 km from Drohobych. The terminus of the railway branch from Drohobych station, trains from Kyiv, Dnipro, trains and buses from Lviv run.
It has been known for its healing springs and rehabilitation centers since the 19th century.
