Pylypets is a village in the Mizhhirsky district of the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine, located at an altitude of 700-750 meters above sea level, at the foot of Mount Hymba. Founded in 1463, the village is now considered one of the largest villages in Mizhhirsky district.
The Ploshanka mountain river, Pylypchyk and Studeny brooks flow through the village.

Pylypets primarily attracts winter recreation enthusiasts, skiers and snowboarders. Mount Hymba (one thousand four hundred and ninety-seven meters, part of the Borzhava mountain range) is equipped with three lifts (except for the upper ones, which start from the top of the 2 km track). The lower and upper parts of the descent are gentle, the middle is steeper and uneven.
A large number of tracks on Mount Khimba, the total length of which is more than 20,000 m. The longest of them is 6,000 m. 4 tracks on Mount Magura-Zhyda, the longest track is 1,500 m.
