The mountain village of Polyanytsia, located at the very edge of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and bordering Transcarpathia, can be called a kind of "paradise" in the Carpathians. If you do not have your own transport, you can get to Polyanytsia by minibuses that run from the regional center every half hour, or from Lviv.
The main advantage of recreation in Polyanytsia is that it is located next to the modern and largest ski resort of Ukraine - Bukovel. Yes, of course, many tourists save by renting accommodation in the village (here it is many times cheaper), and in Bukovel they go to modern ski slopes.
For every tourist in Polyanytsia there is a vacation for every taste. In the summer, it is an ideal place for relaxation and recovery, both by yourself and with your family. Tours on bicycles, horseback, or on foot are offered. Choosing any method of transportation, no tourist will miss absolutely anything.
The village is protected from cold winds by ancient forests and high mountains, the Prutets River flows nearby with the cleanest waters. Not far away is the famous Zhenetsky Huk waterfall. The first look at the reservoir is breathtaking. And the sound of water will help you forget about all your problems, worries and fatigue.
The first breath of the mountain air will make you dizzy, how clean and saturated with oxygen it is. This is where the second wind wakes up. It seems that you can become deaf from the loud singing of birds, and later you realize that without these forest birds it quickly becomes somewhat sad.
The village is located at the foot of Sinyak and Khomyak mountain peaks. They are famous for their ease of climbing, because they are relatively low. Therefore, they are suitable for beginners. And the route itself will take a maximum of a day.
Very hospitable people live in Polyanytsia. Local residents are waiting for new guests every year. They are waiting for news not only from Ukraine, but from all over the world. Here you will not only be greeted warmly, but also deliciously fed. And you should not worry about extra calories - they are all like "a cow will lick its tongue" after the first walk in the mountains. Also in Polyanytsia you will find an opportunity not to miss the treasure hunt! This is what they call the gifts of the forest: blueberries, lingonberries, strawberries, boletus mushrooms of incredible size. These are real stores of vitamins that cannot be compared to those bought in a pharmacy.
For true connoisseurs of mountain resorts, the village of Polyanytsia is a paradise. I want to come back here again and again.
