FLIGHT TO THE MIDDLE AGES: KAMIANETS + KHOTIN + BAKOTA

07:00 Gathering of tourists from all cities at the Kyiv South Terminal of the railway station. Departure from Kyiv by bus.
Arrival in Kamianets-Podilskyi approximately at 2:00 p.m.

A walking tour in Kamianets-Podilskyi, through its old part. You will see the Novoplaniv Bridge, the Town Hall, the Polish Magistrate, the Triumphal Arch, the Orthodox Church of Peter and Paul, the Turkish Bastion, the Wind Gate, the first commercial bank in Podilla, the Dominican Church, the Potocki House. Kamianets-Podilskyi is considered the third in the country in terms of the number of architectural monuments. The city, which at different times managed to be on the territory of different states: Galicia-Volyn Principality, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey and the Russian Empire. And it definitely left a strong mark on its history and architecture.
Next, we go on an excursion to the "Old Fortress" museum - it is one of the seven wonders of Ukraine. You will see the Russian Gate, the Turkish Bridge and much more. You will learn many amazing stories about them. In the evening, when the lighting is turned on, the impregnable fortress finds a special charm, turning into a fairy-tale castle. This moment should definitely be captured on camera.
After the excursion and photo, we go back to the hotel.

Excursion to Bakota.
Bakota is a beautiful, picturesque place, translated from the old Russian language "desired, wonderful place". First of all, these are Podolsk Tovtry-Medobory and the Dniester Bay. Until 1981, the village of Bakota was located here, which, in connection with the construction of the DNIESTER hydroelectric complex, fell under water. There is also an old rock monastery (late 12th - mid-14th century) preserved here. On request - swimming in the Dniester.
Return to Kamianets-Podilskyi. Free time in the city.

Excursion to Khotyn. One of the oldest cities in Bukovyna, which has many popular films, such as Zakhar the Golden Eagle, Black Arrow, Taras Bulba and others. The largest castle in Eastern Europe, on the territory of which fierce battles of the 17th century took place. After the tour, you will have free time for an independent walk around the castle.
Return to Kyiv by 21:00.
