Picturesque places: Vytachiv-Kaniv

8:10 Departure by comfortable bus from Kyiv along the travel route.

9:20 – 11:00 Trypillia village. Observation deck and Trypillian Culture Museum.
Trypillia is a centennial town, which in 1649 had 75 Cossacks, located in the valley of the small Krasna River, on the right bank of the Dnipro.
The Trypillian culture was discovered in the summer of 1901 by amateur archaeologist Vikentiy Khvoyka.
According to one version, it took its name from the ancient Rus city of Trepol, the remains of which can be seen in Trypillia.
11:30 - 14:00 Transfer to Vytahiv village with a wooden Cossack church, built according to the design of Taras Shevchenko himself, and a windmill on the hill.
Vytahiv is considered one of the oldest settlements of Kyivan Rus.
Time for lunch-picnic on the Dnipro cliffs with a view of the landscapes!
14:30-15:30 Transfer to Rzhyschiv. Trinity Church — an architectural monument of the 19th century, an Orthodox church in the city of Rzhyschiv in the Kyiv region.
An ancient city, whose founder and time of foundation are still unknown. A characteristic feature of this area is a large number of ravines and hills,
which make it a region with unforgettable landscapes. You will see the Trinity Church — an architectural monument of the 19th century,
an Orthodox church, also known as the Savior on the Water.
16:00-17:30 Tarasova Hora (Taras Hill).
Tarasova Hora in Kaniv is a national sanctuary of the Ukrainian people, a place of worship in memory of the outstanding poet-prophet Taras Shevchenko.
The Kaniv cave monastery was founded on this hill in the 11th century, after which it became known as Chernecha Hora (Monk's Hill).
According to Taras Shevchenko's will, he was buried on a high Dnipro cliff,
which has since been called Tarasova Hora. A mound was piled up on the grave and a cross was installed.
17:30-18:00 – Transfer via Kaniv HPP (Hydroelectric Power Plant); short stop (30 min) at the dam of the Kaniv HPP.
18:00 – Departure to Kyiv.
20:00 – Arrival in Kyiv.
