Croatia: current border crossing rules
Croatia has extended border crossing restrictions until April 15*, BUT Ukrainians can visit the country for TOURISM PURPOSES.
In particular, citizens of Ukraine who have the right to entry are those who:
travel for tourism purposes, with documented proof of full payment for the planned period of stay in a hotel, apartment, camp, private estate, or yacht charter;
or have confirmation of ownership of real estate or a yacht in Croatia.
In addition, permission to enter Croatia will be granted upon confirmation of the reason for entry and possession of one of the following documents:
a document confirming a negative PCR test result, taken no later than 48 hours before crossing the Croatian border;
a document confirming a negative result of the SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen test, mutually recognized by EU countries, taken no later than 48 hours before crossing the Croatian border. PROVIDED THAT the stay in Croatia is longer than 10 DAYS, the test must be repeated on the territory of Croatia before the 10TH DAY FROM THE DATE OF ISSUANCE OF THE PREVIOUS TEST;
a document confirming the person's vaccination against coronavirus, vaccinated with the second dose of the vaccine no later than 14 days before the moment of entry into Croatia. If the vaccine requires only one dose, then vaccination must be done no later than 14 days before the moment of entry into Croatia;
a document containing information about a positive PCR test or rapid antigen test, which confirms that the person recovered from the SARS-CoV-2 virus within 180 days, the document must be received no earlier than 11 days before the moment of entry into Croatia, or a doctor's confirmation that the person had COVID-19;
entry to Croatia may be permitted under the condition of staying in self-isolation for 10 days or taking tests on the territory of Croatia at one's own expense, and upon a negative result - exiting self-isolation.
Children under 7 years of age are exempt from mandatory testing, IF they travel with parents/guardians who have a negative PCR test result, rapid antigen test result, or a doctor's confirmation that the person had COVID-19.
