Strengthening measures in Montenegro

Updated conditions for entry into Montenegro come into force on January 2, 2022.

Entry is now permitted provided one of the two documents is available:

Proof of complete vaccination, provided that the second dose of the vaccine was administered no later than 6 months before entry.

Proof of recovered COVID-19 illness (a positive PCR or rapid antigen test, which must be no less than 10 days and no more than 180 days old).

In both cases, it is also necessary to have either a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours, or a rapid antigen test no older than 48 hours.

This means that entering Montenegro with only a negative test is no longer possible.

These entry conditions are valid until January 12.
