Dubai Creek is a natural bay in Dubai that stretches 14 kilometers deep into the emirate from the Persian Gulf. Dubai Creek divides the city into two large areas: western Bur Dubai and eastern Deira. Dubai Creek is crossed by three bridges: Al Maktoum, Business Bay and Al Garkhood. In addition, the Shindagha tunnel is laid under the bay. Dubai Creek Bay is part of Dubai's public transport system, and is served by water buses, water taxis, ferries and the famous local abr boats. From the Deira area, the bay embankment is used as a berth for small dhows. The bay is adjoined on its eastern side by the Ras al-Khor Nature Reserve, which is considered a nature conservation area. The fenced area is closed from the harmful influence of people, as it is home to about 250 species of different animals and birds and 47 species of plants.
On the western shore of the bay is Creekside Park - the second largest park in Dubai with a total area of 96 hectares. The territory of the famous park is ennobled: there is a lot of greenery and fountains, which is why many call this park a botanical garden. Creekside Park is perfect for quiet family outings with children, given that there are children's attractions and there are also children's playgrounds. In addition, there is a dolphinarium and Children's City on the territory of Creekside. If you want to look at the park from a height of 30 meters, you can take a ride on the cable car.
