The Downtown area is a new fashionable area of Dubai, which managed to re-glorify the Emirates with its unprecedented construction facilities.Downtown, as a rule, is called the business part of the city with business centers, banks, shopping complexes.Downtown Dubai, which, by the way, began to be built in 2004, is currently ahead of any metropolis in terms of all these structures.

Here, for example, the 828-meter skyscraper Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, and its observation deck is the first place from which most tourists begin their acquaintance with Downtown Dubai.

The largest shopping center in the world - Dubai Mall - is located right here. Going around it is the same as crossing an area equal to the area of 50 football fields. It is a paradise for shopaholics, because there are more than 1,200 boutiques with clothes from the most famous brands, both budget and luxury. But once you get here, you are unlikely to limit yourself to just a couple of new items in your wardrobe. Hundreds of electronic and computer stores, boutiques with cosmetics, shoes, accessories and sports goods will help to significantly empty your wallet.

Many people go to the Emirates for inexpensive gold jewelry. So, in Dubai Mall there is a real Gold Market with more than 220 jewelry boutiques. You can rest and have a snack after a long shopping marathon right in the shopping center. Dubai Mall has about 160 cafes and restaurants serving local, Mediterranean, Asian, international and Latin cuisine. So even in distant Dubai, you can expect to taste your favorite borscht or dumplings.

Well, to completely switch your attention from endless boutiques to something more interesting, you can go on an excursion to the underwater zoo, located right in the mall. You will feel the Arab love for everything exclusive and unique here. Because they even managed to make an aquarium with fish the largest in the world. Imagine: more than 50 meters in height and 20 meters in length, this is the Dubai Aquarium! But that's not all. The continuation of the aquarium is a tunnel - a kind of underwater zoo, through which you can get face-to-face with more than 33,000 marine inhabitants.

An entire interactive city of Kidzania has been created for the youngest tourists in Dubai Mall - with real streets, businesses, and shops. Here, children can play not only as a doctor or a teacher, but also in 70 other professions, becoming, for example, an airplane pilot, a firefighter or a pop singer. For these games, Kidzania has children's airplanes, fire sprinklers and far from toy recording studios. For movie lovers, there is a 22-screen cinema in the Dubai Mall, so you can be one of the first to watch the long-awaited premiere, even if you are far from home.

Closer to the evening, all tourists meet together at the fountain. You simply cannot miss such a spectacle. The Dubai fountain complex "comes to life" exactly at 18:30 local time, paralyzing everything in the district with its action. The fountain "dances" to classics, Arabic melodies and world-famous hits, forming more than 1,000 different shapes in the air. The jets of the Dubai Fountain are illuminated by thousands of spotlights and light fixtures, rising to a height comparable to a 50-story building.

In downtown Dubai, along with super-modern skyscrapers, they managed to preserve the past.Proof of this is Souk al-Bahar - a shopping complex built in the spirit of traditional architectural motifs of the East.It has more than 100 shops, 22 restaurants and cafes with a view of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain. It is also worth visiting the central street of Downtown - Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard.A new portion of boutiques, fashionable restaurants and cafes awaits tourists on the 3.5 km long boulevard.
