The luxurious coastal area in the city of Dubai Jumeirah is especially popular among tourists thanks to chic restaurants, unique hotels and unique beach holidays. The district itself is divided into 3 parts - Jumeirah 1 (East), Jumeirah 2 (Central) and Jumeirah 3 (West). Along the sandy beaches of Jumeirah stretches the Jumeirah Beach tourist promenade built with luxurious skyscraper hotels and expensive shops. The red line of the Dubai Metro passes through Jumeirah. Jumeirah Beach, Promenade and Jumeirah Mosque are the main attractions of this area. There are also well-known hotels such as Burj Al Arab 5 * - the business card of Dubai, and the Jumeirah Beach 5 * hotel is located nearby, on the territory of which there is the famous Wild Wadi water park, which anyone can visit, but for an additional fee.
There are expensive boutiques and shopping centers in the Jumeirah area. Jumeirah Town Center is considered one of the largest shopping centers in the city, where you can buy almost everything. Lovers of the exotic will like the Mercato Mall, decorated in the Renaissance style. Here, as everywhere, you can find expensive boutiques and shops of popular European brands, try on traditional clothes, explore the furniture salon and souvenir shops. Many restaurants, cafes and bars are also concentrated here.
There are many beaches in the Jumeirah area, both public, free of charge, and private, for a fee, which offer tourists everything they need for a comfortable vacation.
La Mer beach. In the new La Mer beach complex, you can spend the whole day: wander around the fashionable boutiques, jump with the children in the outdoor trampoline park, and then have lunch in one of the trendy restaurants or cafes. The complex includes two beaches - North Beach and South Beach. If you like active recreation, you won't have to be bored: wakeboarding, flyboarding and kayaking are at your service.
Dubai's best free beach is located at The Walk in Dubai Marina. This beach has several names - Jumeirah Beach Residence or JBR (by the first letters of the name), Dubai Marina by the name of the district or The Walk by the name of the embankment near which the beach is located. The beach is well equipped - there are showers and toilets, changing rooms, cafes and restaurants, and children's playgrounds. You can rent a sunbed and umbrella for about $30. There is paid parking near the beach (about 5 dollars per hour), if you show a check from the cafe for more than 20 dollars, it will be free for you. Around Jumeirah Beach Residence you will find a large number of hotels from budget to expensive, as well as the best cafes and restaurants, shops and souvenir shops.
Kite Beach is the most sporty beach in Dubai, a meeting place for all kite surfers. Here you can also play beach volleyball, try your hand at paddle boarding or kayaking. In addition to water entertainment, there is a well-equipped skate park, trampolines and a playground for children near the beach. You can have lunch in one of the many beach restaurants and cafes, for example, in our favorite cafe Salt, which prepares the best beef sliders in the city.
Sunset Beach. It is this beach that boasts proximity to one of the main symbols of Dubai - the Burj Al Arab sailing hotel. Also known as Umm Suqeim Beach, this beach is considered one of the most beautiful in the emirate and offers many types of recreation. At the Surf House Dubai surfing club, you can rent a board and learn all the nuances of the local wave over a cup of coffee.
