Lazurne is a small resort village on the Black Sea in the Skadovsky district of the Kherson region, focused on beach and family vacations. Azure for tourists is the open sea, beaches with fine sand and a real watermelon paradise.
Lazurne is an urban-type village located on the Black Sea coast in the southern part of the Kherson region, approximately 32 kilometers from Skadovsk and 120 kilometers from Kherson. The village is surrounded by 3 salty bodies of water: the Black Sea - in the south, the Ostrychne Lake - in the west, and the Dzharylgachsk Lake - in the east.

Climatically, Blue is similar to most other seaside resorts of Ukraine - the village belongs to the temperate-continental zone and borders large steppe massifs. This location is characterized by hot, dry summers with low rainfall. For vacationers, this means clear skies during most of the holiday season and rather rare rains, which are quickly replaced by sunny weather.
Unlike recreation on the Sea of Azov, the full-fledged resort season in Lazurny is later and less long. The deep Black Sea warms up quite slowly, the water near the Azure coast reaches a comfortable temperature of 18-20 degrees C for swimming only in mid-June. On average, the annual water temperature here is about + 20-23 degrees C, but cold currents and storms characteristic of the open sea, even in the heat of the day, can in a matter of hours reduce it to 16-18 degrees C. The coastline within the resort is flat, without bays and capes, so cold masses of water reach the shore unimpeded.
Sea and Beach
The coastline within Lazurny has a length of about 4 kilometers and is conventionally divided into three beach sectors:
The western beach is the section of the coast from the sanatorium and health resort "Gilea" to the DOT "Parus". The width of the beach is about 100 meters. This is the cleanest and most well-kept beach in the village, with daily cleaning by the "Gilea" beach resort and the "Misfora" boarding house. The infrastructure of the beach includes stationary canopies from the sun, cabins for changing clothes, showers, beach attractions. Sun loungers, parasols and other accessories can be rented.
The central beach is the coast opposite the market, roughly from the "Korabel" recreation center to the "Mayak" health resort, or Kurortny Street, which connects the center of the village with the sea. This is the busiest part of the beach, apart from the guests of the hotels and bases located in the immediate vicinity, the main streams of tourists who stopped for rest in the private sector flock here. Along the central beach there is a promenade, next to which there is an amusement park and concentrated entertainment traditional for the coast: darts, trampolines, water attractions, including slides, parachutes, "bananas" and "pills".
The eastern beach is the part of the coast from the rescue station near Kurortna Street to the strait connecting the Black Sea and the Dzharylgat Bay, the landmark is the "Chaika" sanatorium. The width of the eastern beach zone is on average from 5 to 10-15 meters, some areas are washed away by storms up to the clay soil and are unsuitable for recreation.
Infrastructure and entertainment
The infrastructure of Lazurny has the minimum that is necessary for an average tourist without special requests. There is a bus station, 2 branches of PrivatBank, a dispensary, pharmacies, a market, numerous shops and cafes.
The fun part of recreation in Lazurny for children is provided by an amusement park, numerous trampolines, water slides along the entire coast, riding on the beach on horseshoes.
For lovers of nightlife on the sea, the most popular nightclubs are located in Lazurny: Beach Club "Apelsyn", "Steklyashka", "Lampochka".
