Shastlyvtsevo is a resort village on the Sea of Azov, located in the northern part of the Arabatskaya Strilka spit, between Genhorka and Strilkov. This is one of the most southern sea resorts in Ukraine. The village is located in the southeastern part of the Kherson region, on one side is washed by the Sea of Azov, on the other - by the Sivash Bay.
The beach season in Shchaslyvtsevo starts approximately from the middle of May, when the water near the coast reaches a temperature above 16-18 ° C and lasts on average until the middle of September, ending with the so-called "velvet" season.
Unlike the Black Sea, the shallow Sea of Azov warms up quickly enough and maintains a suitable temperature for swimming almost all summer. There are no cold currents here, even after strong storms there are no sharp drops in water temperature. In the height of summer, the sea water near the coast of Shchaslyvtsevo can be very warm - like steamed milk, over +30 ° C is not uncommon here. It is for this reason that tourists with children choose this resort.
The sea and beaches, the passage to the sea, the structure of the bottom
The Sea of Azov in Shchaslyvtsevo has a flat coastline, without bays and capes, so storms partially reach the beaches unimpeded and regularly change the location of shoals - spits located in the sea parallel to the surf line.
The beaches and the entrance to the sea are sandy and shelly, with washed-up areas of shells on the shore. The descent into the sea is smooth, but quite dynamic, shallow wash spits serve as a conditional boundary that separates the swimming area from the open sea and a natural barrier for colder deep water masses - the water near the spit is always warmer than beyond it.
Shchaslyvtseve, like other resorts of the Arabat Arrow, can be called a "big sandpit" - because of the wide beaches, which have enough places for mobile children's games and other entertainment.
Recovery and treatment
In addition to environmental cleanliness, Shchaslyvtsevo is unique in the presence of at least six natural resources capable of strengthening immunity and improving health.
Air
Air masses on the coast are rich in ions of iodine, bromine, fluorine - as a result of evaporation from the surface of the Sea of Azov and the Gulf of Sivash, and also contain phytoncides of herbs that grow on the untouched steppe massifs surrounding the village. This composition of natural inhalation can improve the condition of chronic rhinitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis and allergies, as well as improve the health of the upper respiratory tract after acute respiratory diseases.
Seawater
The water in the Sea of Azov is unique in its composition - in addition to the 92 elements of Mendeleev's system, it contains sulphide mud, which rises from the bottom layer at the slightest disturbance to the sea. Bathing in the sea has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, stimulates skin regeneration and generally has a positive effect on the body.
The thermal source is well No. 25
The temperature of the water gushing from the underground geyser, located at the exit from Shchaslyvtsevo, reaches -40-70 ° C at different times of the year, and the mineralization is at least six times higher than the mineralization of water in the Sea of Azov. With the right approach, visiting the source can significantly improve health, especially in terms of problems with the nervous and cardiovascular systems, in gynecological, urological, skin and endocrine diseases, after injuries and in arthritis, arthrosis, osteochondrosis.
Sivash dirt
The silt produced in the Sivash Bay contains natural antibiotics - sulfides, sulfates, biogenic stimulators, bromine, iodine, boron, humus, and bitumen. Dirt is effectively used for skin problems - eczema, allergic rashes, scars. Sivas mud retains its healing properties only in the first hours after extraction, and quickly loses them when in contact with air.
Sivash crude oil
The salt complex with a rather sharp smell has a complex composition and has unique properties. Rapid baths can accelerate regenerative processes and have an antiseptic effect. Rapa is usually used in diluted form for baths, rinses and applications, often in combination with Sivash mud.
Salt lake water
Here, on the salt lake in Shchaslyvtsevo, you can read a newspaper, while the water, due to its high density, keeps the body on the surface, and then you can enthusiastically watch how the drops on the skin turn into crystals under the southern sun.
