Montenegro from December 22 - new events!
The Ministry of Health of Montenegro has adopted new measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, which will take effect today at midnight (from 00:00 on December 22, 2020) and will be valid until January 11, 2021.
From December 22, tourists are allowed to enter Montenegro only with a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours.
➖ Curfew from 22:00 to 05:00.
➖ Movement between municipalities is prohibited on weekends - from 22:00 on Friday to 05:00 on Monday, as well as on December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2020, and January 1, 2, 6, and 7, 2021.
➖ Grocery stores (markets, supermarkets, hypermarkets), shopping centers, clothing and footwear stores, beauty salons, hairdressers will be open from 07:00 to 20:00.
➖ New Year's celebrations are prohibited in open and closed public places.
➖ Public catering establishments will operate from 07:00 to 20:00, except for December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2020, and January 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8, 2021, when they will operate only in delivery mode.
➖ Entertainment music program in cafes and restaurants can be organized between 07:00 and 20:00.
➖ The operation of nightclubs, bars, and discotheques is prohibited.
➖ The operation of hotels will be organized in a specific way on December 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2020, and January 1, 2, 6, 7, and 8, 2021:
- Hotel cafes and restaurants will be open only to hotel guests from 07:00 to 16:00. Room service can be used during other hours.
- Swimming pools and SPA centers at hotels will not operate.
- The organization of entertainment and music programs is prohibited.
➖ The operation of all children's playrooms (igraonice) is prohibited.
➖ On days of religious holidays (the night of December 24 to 25, 2020, the night of January 5 to 6, 2021, and the night of January 6 to 7, 2021), leaving residential buildings to attend religious ceremonies is allowed, in compliance with the previously defined rules for staying inside temples and in the area adjacent to them.
➖ The organization of professional and scientific gatherings (seminars, congresses, etc.) is prohibited from December 28, 2020, to January 11, 2021. The exception is public gatherings with a maximum of 25 participants, lasting no more than 60 minutes, provided that a physical distance of 2 meters is maintained, masks are worn, and megaphones are used.
