Strengthening measures in Montenegro
Montenegro has strengthened measures, effective from February 25:
Across the entire country:
- Operating hours for restaurants, non-food stores from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Ban on intercity travel on weekends.
- Curfew from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
- Excursions are prohibited.
- Grocery stores until 8:00 PM.
- Operation of Ferris wheels and amusement parks is prohibited.
Restaurants are closed in the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Cetinje, Nikšić, Ulcinj, Kotor. Ban on the operation of vending machines and the sale of coffee for take-out.
Departure from the municipalities of Budva, Tivat, Podgorica, Cetinje, Ulcinj, Herceg Novi, Nikšić, and Plužine is prohibited without a compelling reason.
In the municipalities of Budva, Tivat, Herceg Novi, in addition to general measures:
- Prohibition of operation of restaurants and sale of coffee for take-out, shopping centers, hairdressers, gyms, non-food stores.
- Kindergartens, schools, colleges switch to online learning.
- Gatherings outdoors and indoors of more than 4 people are prohibited.
A mandatory PCR test no older than 72 hours is required for entry from:
The United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Israel, India, Bahrain, Lebanon, South Africa, Brazil, USA, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Malta, France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Czech Republic. San Marino, Luxembourg, Andorra, Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Botswana were added to this list on February 24.
A PCR test is not required for entry from other countries.
